About the event
We're excited to offer two outrigger clinic options this fall. Space is limited to 5-6 participants per session, so please select the clinic you're most interested in attending.
We're hopeful that the dock and access construction will be complete by then and that we'll be launching from the Squamish Paddling Clubhouse on Loggers Lane.
Newbie / Never-Ever Intro Session. $25 per person per session. Never paddled an outrigger canoe before, or only been out 1-2 times and wants to build confidence. Topics covered: Outrigger basics, Equipment and safety, Paddling technique fundamentals,Canoe etiquette and commands.
Full-Day Outrigger Clinic. $60 per person per day. Attended one of our clinics this summer, and/or have previous outrigger experience. Ideally you have attended some practices over the past few months in the OC6 and/or OC2. Topics Covered: Advanced paddling technique, Team blend and timing, OC6 and OC2 skills, Steering fundamentals and Introduction to racing fundamentals.
