SUP Series - West Wall and Estuary

This paddle takes us along the West Wall and into the estuary on a rising tide. A route that introduces

more exposure, movement, and the kind of conditions that grow strong paddlers.

As always, paddling on the Salish Sea has us watching several variables — temps, tides, winds, and river flows. The rising tide should give us a great opportunity to move through the estuary and, if we have enough water, explore deeper into the back channels. Timing will be important, so please arrive prepared and ready to launch on time. We may change our launch location to give us an optimal paddle experience, I will provide additional email toward the end of next week. 

This paddle will give us a chance to practice reading the water, moving efficiently as a group, and making smart route decisions based on tide, wind, and conditions. The estuary is a beautiful and dynamic place…
