About the event
Well the Squamish 50 is in the bag and now the attention is turned from the trail to the water. We’re looking forward to getting back on the ocean this weekend. You're welcome to join on a paddle along the West Wall toward Tantalus Rec Site— a route that introduces more distance, wind variables, and the kind of conditions that grow strong paddlers.
The launch spot remains the same, from the Pocket Beach. We do want to be on the water at 7:30 to ensure we don't get spanked by the wind. So, if you have to inflate a board, get there early, or simply get to the pocket beach early to enjoy a good stretch on the beach.
Tantalus Rec Site is approx. 4 km from where we put in, with a good effort we will be able to go ashore, explore, and have a snack. You may even want to go…
